Spice Up Your Campaign Measurement Efforts!

While doing some research on the Web,  I came across one of United Way of East Central Iowa’s (Cedar Rapids, IA) blog posts titled “How We’ll Show Campaign Progress in 2012.” They decided to take a different approach communicating their campaign progress with a graphic that is not the typical United Way thermometer.

When I saw this, it reminded me of an entry I posted at the beginning of campaign season last fall. I think your marketing team could take United Way of East Central Iowa’s creativity and ambition and use it for this year’s campaign. Take a look at the “A New Way To Communicate Impact Using Your Thermometer” blog post for other ideas on how to communicate in a different way, rather than just numbers on a scale. Let your community members know you are impacting your local community, rather than just raising money for it.
